The rights of “We The People”, the governed, are being abused and ignored.
In September, 2025 North Shore Says NO! (NSSN) first began protesting on I-94/Edens Expressway overpasses in response to the democracy threatening “Operation Midway Blitz”. NSSN protests have encouraged thousands of commuters to show their opposition to threats to our democratic values, cherished institutions, and the rule of law. Activism is new to many people, and even a honk is a start.
If you have as little as 30 minutes to spare, please join us on one of the overpasses! Bring your signs, flags and friends! While the bridge banners get most of the attention from highway commuters, PEOPLE on the bridges waving at on-coming traffic really help to draw attention. Our mostly hand-made signs make it easy to engage with drivers on the cross-streets themselves.
Thank you for standing up in RESISTANCE to the militarization and assault of our communities and the illegal aggression against sovereign nations that the current administration is perpetrating.
