Sign UP for NEW weekly protests near where ICE is being housed
NO to ICE Living in our backyard
NO to ICE enjoying the resources of our communities while they work every day, every hour , every minute to tear them apart.
NO to ICE breaking the law every day while doing all that they can to harass, intimidate and threaten our immigrant neighbors
It turns out ICE is being housed, not in government housing, but in our own backyard at the Marriott Residence Inn in Deerfield.
Let’s turn out to say they are not welcome on our streets and in our communities. Sign up to join us!
Stay tuned for further actions as we work every day to protect our immigrant neighbors.

See the shifts at Church (Skokie/Morton Grove) and Glenview (Glenview/Wilmette) in the sign up! If you can gather 4 friends to adopt a shift at Winnetka or Pratt, we’ll add those in too.
If you have as little as 30 minutes to spare, please join us on one of the overpasses! Bring your signs, flags and friends! While the bridge banners get most of the attention from highway commuters, PEOPLE on the bridges really help to draw attention and engage with drivers on the cross-streets themselves.
Thank you for standing up in RESISTANCE to the militarization of our communities.
We also need 1-4 volunteers as Shift Captains for each of the shifts (morning and afternoon).
Please email us at northshoresaysno@gmail.com to indicate your interest in serving as a Shift Captain– the more Captains we recruit – the lighter the load for everyone. Captain responsibilities are simple – pick up the banners and misc. supplies at a specified location- assist/direct volunteers in the display of banners- remind folks to be safe and to take some photos and – and return the banners and supplies to a specified location. North Shore Says No Start-Up leaders will be on hand at all overpasses to assist.
